Revelation 6:5

"When He broke the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, 'Come!' I looked and behold, a black horse: and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand."

Well, here is a picture of a Necklace I completed a couple days ago & added to my Etsy & Artfire Studios. I had a ball making this one...it just flowed.

giving up on the hay.

We tried and tried to make the hay, but the weather just will not cooperate. It seems like if we even think about doing it, it rains! Tomorrow is supposed to be nice, but we need 2 more days of nice, sunny, windy, dry weather for the hay to make....yeah right! LOL! At this point, I guess we will just have to hope that all the rain will make that second cut grow long & lush. And have to hope for a long season, since we were a month late cutting the first cut due to all the rain. Looks like I am going to be in the market for buying hay this year....with 5 horses, that's a good chunk-o-change!

And this is what Abby thought of the whole deal...

And then this is what the sky looked like at the end of the day...

One more of the fields...

And another one...

Can't make hay in the rain!

Here are some pictures of the hay fields 2 days ago...when we THOUGHT we were going to make hay...

My Beautiful Black Horse

I had a wonderful moment with my troubled beautiful black mustang, Cuervo today. Usually reserved and guarded, I called to him today from across the pasture and he came at a gallop to me. It was such a milestone for us and a moment that takes your breath away. I feel such a connection with this horse. I have so much respect and admiration for him and what he represents. Today reminded me of how important it is to take as much time as it takes to gain mutual respect and trust. It's all starting to pay off and come together. *Happy Sigh*

Some new & fun stuff I've started adding to my Studio...Western Hatbands...YEEHAAW!!
